Greenworks in Pole Position as the First to Supply Nibe’s Next Generation Ground Source Heat Pump
Greenworks has supplied the first of NIBE’s latest ground source heat pumps to hit the UK market.
The NIBE F1145 is a 12kw ground source heat pump that was only launched in the UK in October. Through Jewson’s Stokesley branch in North Yorkshire, the first of the state-of-the-art Next Generation range will be installed at the home of the Environment Agency’s Deputy Chairman, Dr Andy Brown, in North Yorkshire.
NIBE F1145 is a ground source heat pump for heating single and multi-family houses and industrial buildings. The latest generation NIBE ground source heat pumps are more efficient than previous models, extremely user-friendly and will reduce energy bills by up to 80 per cent – providing financial savings as well as a significant reduction in carbon emissions.
Malcolm Gough, Market Director for Greenworks, explains: “Greenworks provides the latest sustainable solutions for every stage of the construction process through Jewson, which is why we are proud to be the first to supply NIBE’s cutting edge heat pump into the UK market. Jewson is the only national builders’ merchant to supply NIBE products in the UK, which not only reflects the strength of the relationship with one of the industry’s leading players, but confirms its position as the sustainable builders’ merchant and its ability to, through Greenworks, provide the latest in renewable technologies.”
Darren Myers, Sales Director at NIBE, says: “The Next Generation F1145 ground source heat pump is the result of extensive research and development and is now widely available to the commercial and domestic markets. Our decision to make Jewson the only national builders’ merchant to supply the product reflects its commitment to sustainable solutions and its innovative outlook. We look forward to developing our long-standing relationship with Greenworks, Jewson and Graham and we’re excited to bring such an advanced product to the UK.”
Howard Tribick, Managing Director at HT Energy and a key NIBE installer, will be installing the first F1145 and adds: “More and more customers are becoming increasingly aware of the benefits brought about by renewable technologies however, until recently, there has been limited accessibility to these products. Greenworks, through Jewson, has made renewable technologies widely available and has played a key role in raising awareness of sustainable solutions and demonstrating how they can be integrated into new or existing developments.”
