Greenworks… One Year On!

It was a whole year ago that the Greenworks website first went live, which seems like the perfect time to remind ourselves of the past and look forward to the future.

Greenworks, the daughter company of Jewson, was launched to give all of our exciting new sustainable and renewable energy solutions a home on the internet under one banner.

The website was put together by award winning digital agency Cyber-Duck who designed and built fantastic unique interactive flash interfaces so you users could really see how our products benefit you and the environment.

Cyber-Duck helped us to convey our message about the importance of protecting our planet in a simple and straight-forward way. Visitors to the site are able to see how being ecologically conscious can have huge benefits for people as well as plants, financially, ethically and domestically.

We’ve had great feedback, from customers as well as new media industry professionals. Mark Hodges, a plumber who runs his own West London-based firm uses our products regularly and says, “The demand for eco-products like underfloor heating, condensing boilers and rainwater harvesters has gone through the roof recently. Being eco-friendly is not only the ‘in’ thing right now, but with new Government legislation it is now a requirement and Greenworks have made it all so simple and straightforward so the client can see exactly what they’re getting without getting bogged down in complicated industry language.”

Since the launch, the site has won several prestigious awards: The Horizon Bronze award, which honours outstanding achievement within interactive media; and a Communicator award of Distinction in the energy category.

The site is currently undergoing a refurbishment to ensure that all the most up-to-date information on ecological living is available to our users. In the future you’ll be able to see more unique, in-depth analysis on energy-saving techniques and products backed up by regular blog updates and presented in the engaging, user-friendly fashion our visitors have come to expect from Greenworks.
